About UFSWho Are We?Your Not-for-Profit, Community Pharmacy! UFS is an abbreviation for United Friendly Societies. UFS Dispensaries is a not-for-profit, community based organisation running twelve pharmacies, two pharmacy depots, a gift shop and a well-being centre throughout Western Victoria, Australia. UFS is run by an elected Board of Directors and owned by its members. While the business must be economically sound, profit is not the major objective. UFS exists to provide benefits to its members. The income UFS generates is directed back to members in the form of attractive discounts, modern facilities and member services. The most appealing benefit is the 20% discount offered to members all year round [on all retail prices except restricted PBS pharmaceuticals]. UFS members are invited to join the Baby Club at our Bridge Mall pharmacy and take advantage of discounted services such as passport photos, ear piercing and weight management programs (Ultra Lite and Kate Morgan). All members also have the opportunity to participate in company affairs by attending the Annual General Meeting, which is held in November each year. As a Quality Care Accredited organisation, UFS is committed to better understanding our customers needs and providing service that ultimately exceeds expectations.
