The UFS COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic offers both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines at 309 Dana Street, Ballarat. Enter via the Dana St entrance only.

Most UFS Pharmacies are also offering AstraZeneca vaccinations.

UFS is proud to be participating in the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination program and offering this service to the community.

The vaccination clinic is located at 309 Dana Street (cnr. Doveton Street South). This is the building diagonally opposite Harris Scarfe, and was previously the offices of Smith & Jennings Accountants. Entry for the vaccination clinic is  via Dana Street only. 

The clinic operates from 9am to 5.30pm on weekdays and from 9am to 4pm on weekends.

The UFS COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic now stocks both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines, however the clinic is currently unable to accept new bookings for Pfizer vaccinations. UFS Pharmacies are offering the AstraZeneca vaccination only.

On 13 July,  2021, the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) released revised clinical advice in the setting of increasing community COVID-19 cases in Australia.

ATAGI recommends the AstraZeneca vaccine for people 60 years and over, and recommends the Pfizer vaccine as the preferred vaccine for people aged 16 to 59 years, however, the AstraZeneca vaccine can be used in adults aged under 60 years where the benefits clearly outweigh the risk for that individual and the person has made an informed decision based on an understanding of the risks and benefits.

Those eligible for the Pfizer vaccine need to phone the clinic on 4320 0891 to book an appointment. Patients eligible for the AstraZeneca vaccine are able to book online via or via phone on 4320 0891.

Patients must not attend the clinic if they:

  • are experiencing respiratory symptoms
  • are waiting COVID-19 test results
  • have attended any identified exposure sites
  • have been directed to self isolate

Please be aware that we do require masks to be worn by all patients at the clinic.

Most UFS pharmacies are also offering AstraZeneca vaccinations to those eligible (18 years of age and over).
