Most UFS pharmacies* offer the Pertussis (Whooping Cough) vaccination, influenza immunisation  vaccination and MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccination. They are all administered by an immunisation accredited pharmacist, who will update your national immunisation record the same way a GP would. The vaccinations are available for patients 10 years of age or over.

*Excludes Doveton Street, Victoria Street, Gisborne, Coburg and Coburg North pharmacies.

Flu Vaccination

You can now receive your flu vaccination at your local UFS Pharmacy

  • Just $25 for UFS Members, or $31.25 for non Members.
  • The vaccine is SUPPLIED free of charge to pregnant women, people 65 years and over, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and people with medical conditions putting them at increased risk of severe influenza and complications (check eligibility with your preferred UFS Pharmacy) with a fee of $10 for UFS members to have this ADMINISTERED (or $12.50 for non Members)
  • Administered by an immunisation accredited pharmacist
  • Your national immunisation record will be updated in the same way a GP would
  • Children up to the age of 10 years need to visit their GP for the vaccine

MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccinations

Most UFS pharmacies* offer the MMR vaccinations, administered by an immunisation accredited pharmacist, who will update your national immunisation record the same way a GP would.

Costs are as follows:

  • $40 for UFS Members, or $50 for non Members.
  • For those eligible** for free SUPPLY of the vaccine, a fee is applicable to have the injection ADMINISTERED ($10 for UFS members or $12.50 for non members).

*Excludes Doveton Street, Victoria Street, Gisborne, Coburg and Coburg North pharmacies.

** Patients may be entitled to government-funded stock of the vaccine under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) or Measles-Mumps-Rubella Adult Vaccine Program. If so, the vaccination can be administered free of charge from their general practitioner (who claims this from Medicare).
